The Almonte Judo Club returns for it’s 49th season on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 !!! You may register and participate on the first night (Sept 7), or simply show up, sign a waiver form, and try the class (or 2, or 3) with no obligation or cost.
We continue to practice in the upstairs Hall of the Almonte Community Centre each Wednesday night, September through the end of April. New members are always welcome but it’s recommended the student begins in September!! Come enjoy one of the finest Clubs anywhere – view from our comfortable seating area, enjoy free trial classes, or jump right in !! We are well established, very affordable, fully insured, fun, safe, friendly, and will provide you an element of challenge and fitness which fits your age and lifestyle.
Your membership entitles you to all the privileges as a member of the Almonte Judo Club, Judo Ontario, and Judo Canada, including quality black belt instruction, participation in tournaments and clinics (optional), inter-Club training, insurance coverage, and much, much more.
Juniors (5-12 yrs of age) are on the mats from 6:45PM – 8:00 PM, then Seniors (13+) begin practice at 8:05PM and end at 9:30PM.
Prices for Juniors start at only $190 for a full season comprised of 32 weeks. Payments may be made in September and January, or enjoy the Club discount if fully prepaid in September. Used uniforms (if size in stock) are available for $20, and if purchased new, $40 – $50. Membership with Judo Ontario and Judo Canada are included in the above-noted fees.
Serving Almonte and surrounding communities steady since 1968, we are anxious to meet you and introduce you to the Olympic sport, martial art, and means of self-defence known as Judo.
