Tournament Results – Lycee Claudel/East Region Tournament

Tournament results from Lycee Claudel/East Region tournament of November 15 were as follows;

• Dylan (DJ) De Pater – Bronze
• Ben Howlett – Gold
• Castin Howlett – Silver
• Pippa O’Brien – Silver (Exhibition category)
• Sarah Reside – Gold (separate Exhibition category)

Unofficially, both Sarah and Pippa qualify as members of an East Region U17 team to be formed for the purpose of competing at the Ontario Winter Games. When selected ‘officially’, Sarah and Pippa will represent the East Region of Judo Ontario (and the Almonte Judo Club of course) while competing against judo athletes selected from all other regions throughout the province. This years Games will be held March 4-6 in Huntsville (Muskoka area).

Almonte has been represented at the Winter Games but it has been a while as seen below.
