Women’s Night at Almonte Judo Club

Female judoka from several clubs throughout the region converged at Almonte for a fun and energetic night of training, Wed. Jan 26. The evening was organized in order to bring these athletes together at one location, since female numbers are relatively small at each individual club. Clubs participating on this evening included Munster Judo Club, RA Judo Club, Ottawa Judo Club, Club de Nicholas Gatineau, and Almonte Judo Club. Regrets were received from Arnprior Judo Club, Odawa Judo Club, Beckwith Judo Club, and Lycee Claudel. A core group of participants hope to continue this training on a rotating club basis each month. A great time was had by all and we look forward to the next opportunity!
